RAILCTX-HD is designed for local control in rail operations - housed in a rugged IP67 enclosure for bogie mounting. RAILCTX-HD is installed at critical points on vehicles, where it records vibrations, impacts, acoustic spectra and environmental conditions. It evaluates this information locally and automatically controls alarms, measurement processes, pump valves or other external systems - deterministically and with full traceability.
RAILCTX-HD works together with the Parametric Cloud software, but can also operate autonomously. Event detection and response always happen locally and deterministically, independent of an active cloud connection - the cloud link remains important for configuration, monitoring and evidence. Depending on the application, RAILCTX-HD can therefore be used flexibly: as a pure monitoring device, or as a real-time control device that switches relays and digital outputs locally and sends SMS alerts.
RAILCTX-HD is housed in a rugged IP67 enclosure, making it ideal for mounting on the bogie or generally underneath the carbody, where water, dust and harsh environmental conditions are present. The device meets EN50155/EN61373 category 2.
